Please note, the suites are spread across 5 floors accessible by stairs only and there is no lift access in the building. Therefore it may not be suitable for guests with mobility impairment.
A security deposit of GBP 300 but not limited to £300.00 this is required upon arrival for incidentals. This deposit is fully refundable upon check-out and subject to a damage inspection of the accommodation. You can use an alternative credit card for the security deposit.
Smoking is not permitted in any of the suites and throughout the building. Please note that any smoking fines are in addition to your security deposit. The fines start from £350.00 per cigarette.
Guests arriving after the check in time on the day of arrival must contact the property before arrival and only with prior approval.
Guests are required to show photo identification and the same credit card used to pay for the reservation upon check-in. We will require pin verification of the credit card used to make the booking. If the credit card holder is not present and the card used to make the booking Carlton Kensington will refund the original card used within 14 days and a new card with the cardholder present will be required to make the payment.
Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
In certain circumstances Carlton Kensington Apartments reserves the right to provide an alternative suite to the one booked without additional notice.
Please inform Carlton Kensington Apartments in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. We provide a one on one walk through of the suites so we would like to be ensure that someone is on hand to provide you with this service.
All reservations are non refundable, bookings cannot be amended or cancelled - any amendment or cancellation will incur the full cost of the booking. Please note that your card has already been charged we require to see the card on check-in along with identification.
Check-in/Check-out Policy: Rates quoted are based on check-in date and length of stay shown. Should you depart early prior to the departure date confirmed for any reason, the full charge will be applicable.
Arrival Time: Your reservations will be held until local apartment hold time. Apartments may not be available until after the reserved apartments designated check-in time. Occupancy prior to check-in time on the date of the reservation cannot be confirmed unless the apartment has availability and payment for the previous night is received by the Carlton Kensington prior to arrival. Your apartment will be held until 1am.
Rate Rules/Restrictions: Rates are confirmed in Great British Pounds. Rates confirmed are for the number of occupants listed in your e-mail confirmation, per apartment, per night and do not include additional charges for rollaway beds or extra people and will apply only to rooms booked as part of this reservation. Applicable taxes, service charges, and value added tax (VAT), if applicable, will be added to the hotel bill unless indicated as a package feature. The taxes, service charges and value added tax shown on your e-mail confirmation are those currently in effect. Taxes, service charges, etc. are subject to change without notice according to local law. We will charge in local currency unless otherwise specified.
Revision/Cancellation: Should you need to cancel, please note the full charge is applicable.
No changes to the arrival date, departure date, or apartment type are allowed. Any changes will incur the full cost of the original reservation. Please note if your reservation is a no show (failure to arrive at the property) the full costs are applicable.
We reserve the right to cancel or modify reservations where it appears that a customer has engaged in fraudulent or inappropriate activity or under other circumstances where it appears that the reservations contain or resulted from a mistake or error.
